cingular to discontinue motorola v600

well if you look at the site you may notice the v600 is missing from the phone line up. i called a cingular store and one of the workers told me they were discontinuing this model, he also said they would not sell the remaining phones at discount. anyone know of any store that may sell the ramaining phones for less? thanks.

well they are discontinuing the phone. cingular stopped sending them to the retailers. sounds like theres a bug in the current software they're running so motorola is going to reflash them then send them the new ones

Cingular has discontinued the V600 due to reception issues. The phone does not work in the 850 mhz range. They believe it may be do to the metal casing on the phone, but are not sure

Cingular decided not to sell the v600 anymore because of its frequency it had a problem with cingulars frequency so yep.
