If I buy a used Sony Ericsson T226 that was used with AT&T, will I be able to use it with Cingular, since the two companies have merged? This phone was compatible with both companies prior to ther merge.

If the phone is locked you won't be able to use your Cingular sim card, make sure the t226 is unlocked before you buy..
