    How can their signal be terrible in Texas? They just merged with AT&T and with Cingular you have access to every GSM tower in the state of Texas. From what I've seen on the coverage maps, Cingular has excellent coverage in Texas. As for the dropped calls, its probably because Cingular and AT&T towers can't handoff between each other, and vice versa, for now at least. In the next few months the seamless handoff will be integrated and you'll be able to switch between Cingular and AT&T towers mid-call, which should eliminate most if not all of your dropped calls. I, for one, have never had a dropped call with Cingular.

    that because we don't have 1 network it's still 2 orange and blue and belive me it's about to get worse just wait and see...and yes cing tower can hand over to att but the eng's still can't figure out why it doesn't work /shrug
    Yes I work for cingular....and cingular is about to find out what the meaning of pain is!!!!!!!!!
