    Well, I have cingular, and I got this LG phone with my plan that was free, and I'm quite sick of it by now. My question is quite simple, if I get a new phone can I just put the SIM card out of my current phone in it and be set to go or what do you have to do to switch phones?

    It's that simple just swap the SIM. Which phone are you thinking of getting i'm looking at the motorola v551 I have the sony t637 it's kinda lame. I'm not sure if i like Motorola's Operating System... but i sure don't like sony's OS!

    i recently got a new samsung phone (old one was nokia) called the cingular poeple to get it acctivated. the lady said that the new sim cards have new features so some stuff may be active or inactive based on your sim card. but thats what she said so take that as you wish.
