Nextel phone on Cingular Network

Hello. I have a i95cl that has less than 400 min on her. I no longer use nextel and wish to use this phone on the Cingular network.

Can this phone be unlocked to work on the cingular system. I have a simms for both networks.

If so, how can I do this, what will I need, and how much? Thanks for any and all advice. Jasper

Thanks. I got in touch with a fellow who says that the nextel phone will not take the GSM service even unlocked. I guess the IDEN phones will work unlocked with nextel/ boost services which are affiliated with each other. Bummer cause the phone is fairly new still.
I will keep looking cause I'm still not sure about the whole thing. Thanks

i assume you now have a cingular account? You have an active sim from cingular for the account? If so yes you can use the phone if it is unlocked. If it's not, you will either need to get the unlock code from nextel or pay to have it unlocked. Do some searching, there are a ton of places that can do it for you, it's ussually around 25 bux.
