Well I went to check my minutes today... and it shows I am 300 MINUTES OVERAGE! I know this cant be right cuz i checked it like on Friday night at like 8PM and I still had like 100 anytime minutes... do the night and weekend minutes take time to go in to night and weekend slot or what the hell is going on?

if your call originated before 9pm on friday night then it counts as a day time call, coming out of your daytime minutes, ex - call made at 859 and you talk for 2 hours = 120 mins out of your daytime. Depending on which plan you have with cingular, you more than likely have unlimited nights and weekends, unless you are on a lower plan which limits you to 5000 for nights and weekends (like you'd use all those either)
Make sure you check your statement to see whether those 300 mins are really overage or not, good luck n let us know!a.k.a - Kinjutsu11

calls are now automatically deducted from anytime or n/w depending on the time in most markets. so if you start a call at 8:59 and talk for 2 hours, you will use 1 minute anytime and 119 n/w.

Actually it is correct. It's not in all markets yet but they have started the transition to allow all markets to switch auto when the time changes. Do a search in the cingular forum over on howardforums, you'll find it.

agreed, that is how everyones minutes used to work. You had to hang up and call again for the change to be picked up. They are changing it to do it auto though. I know that, and i don't even have n/w minutes! lol
having a best friend who owns 12 cingular stores prob helps a little bit.
