While I currently use Cingular's Nation 450 plan for $39.99, you can modify the plan or change it to any of their other deals at www.cingular.com once you have the service.

According to www.cingular.com, I have 3,500 stored up rollover minutes which would become yours. They survive even if you change the service as long as your new plan also rolls minutes over. All Cingular Nation plans use rollover, to my knowledge.

Not to mention if you don't like the service, you can cancel without a fee in a mere nine months -- this would suit travellers.
