Hello, as stated above I am a Sprint user thinking of switching to Cingular. I have been with sprint for 5 years and my family, gf, and most co workers now all have cingular. The minutes are being eaten like candy and I am now wanting to switch to Cingular for that Cingular to Cingular.

Anyways, I need help. With Sprint, I have
unlimited text and unlimited internet for only 15 bux a month(due to my old plan)
$40.00 PCS Free & Clear Plan, Which includes:
    # All Minutes Include Long Distance
    # 500 Anytime Minutes
    # Unlimited Night and Weekend Minutes
Plus 7pm night minutes and protection ($5 for each)

On average I pay about $72 a month.

Now onto my rant and questions(just had to give the background)
I work for AmeriCorps and at a University and use my computer religously. I am always emailing(from two different accounts), surfing the web and reading in forums. My current sprint phone cannot cut it. It has nice features like the 1mp cam, MobiTV and what not, but I cannot check my email, forums, or surf the net at decent speeds.

I need a phone that can get on the internet, check forums, check my email, and be at decent speeds. EDGE is a must, I would love for the phone to have bluetooth, and wifi would be nice. I would really like a camera/video and would like 1mp or more. Built in keyboards are also nice. I want a phone with all the quirky little features and something that can come close to doing it all for me

I have looked at the Cingular plans and am worried. I see the MediaNet/Media works/ Media...Media...Media....
The plan I am looking for will need to be able to provide me a decent amount of internet plus text messaging. I have reviewed the plans and am leaning towards that MediaWorks bundle. 5MB, 1000txt and what eva else. I am just weary that 5mb will not be enough for me. I download ringtones from time to time(for free) but know that will cut into the 5mb. Will transferring ringtones/programs via bluetooth cut into that 5mb?
Also, I see that MEdiaNet is not available on certain phones and other phones must get DataConnect which seems like a crock. Anywho, I saw on another post you can semi-cheat the system by purchasing your phone then purchasing MEdia net to your phone or by switching a SIM card that has MEdia, is that correct? And is that the better way to go?

The phones I am currently considering are: Sony Ericson s710 Audiovox SMT 5600 Treo 650 (I am iffy on the 650) and the SX66
Or should I wait untill the Nokia 6681/6682 or another phone that would better fit my needs?

Anyways, sorry for such the long post, and it would be great for any advice. On my monthly price, I would like to see it a little cheaper than what I am paying now. Thanks again for any info.
EDIT: The price of the phone is not a major concern to me, as long as I dont pay 550-600. I mean 5 is really high, but I am badly in search of something that will fit my needs.

    Which Phone?

I wouldn't worry about have a camera in the phone. And the first question is are you more concerned about having a phone or the extras?

I just got a SX66 and unlocked it for 'another provider'. I was an AVID-RABID Palm user (hence the username) for the last 10 years. So switching to a Windows CE device was heresy.

After 6 days with the SX66, I am in a new state of happiness. Outlook mail, Yahoo mail, and Tmobile mail all come across without a probelm. Sync is seemless and active sync is great while at work so I never leave the office without my 'laptop'. I'm not sure how the battery life will be, as this is the first weekend away from the cradle on my desk.
