My wife has Verizion, a plan that runs about $40 a month. She complains to me that she never uses her minimum minutes and hates paying $40 a month for, say 100 minutes a month. I mention that Cingular has it's so-called "Go" phone for people who don't use a lot of minutes, but is it a good idea? Would she be better or worse off with the Cingular "Go" phone? We live in northern Westchester County.

    Thanks.

I would recommend T-Mobile To Go, you said she uses around 100 min. for $40/mo., right? With T-Mobile To Go you can buy a $100 card which lasts you a year to use and it gives you 1000 minutes. A 1000 minutes can last her around 10 months, and 10 months on Verizon is costing her $400. So you can save her $300 bucks switching to T-Mobile To Go.
