I would greatly thank you for entertaining my question. I know its crazy because im almost certain i cant do it....say i have an unlocked phone say the nokia 6800 the flipout keyboard phone is it possible to use it as a prepaid phone? more precise, say i had this phone with at&t, everything erased and locked now only to be used with at&t. can this phone be unlocked to be used as a prepaid phone. i thought the prepaid phone was completely different than a standard phone but now a friend tells me different. thanks

it depends on who the service was through, and what kind of phone it is. i know of one prepaid company (www.locusmobile.com) that can reactivate used TDMA and GSM AT&T and Cingular phones, I think they have a list of phone models they can activate, or just call their toll-free number. I think they're 24/7. Hope this helps!
