Hi, wow this site has a lot of info. I recently finished up my contract with Cingular. My wife and I went with another provider, but I have a question about my old Cingular V60i phone. This phone is free and clear and has no unpaid balances or anything like that. If I give this phone to my mom, will Cingular activate it as a prepaid go phone?
Thanks for the help.

No. It's TDMA. She would have to get a new GSM phone. Either a GoPhone or KIC Prepaid
