I have a new Sony-Ericsson 520a phone with Cingular service. I am buying a data cable for the phone to interface with my laptop. My question is "If I use my cellphone as a modem to connect through my laptop to my webmail account, will I just be charged "airtime" on my Cingular bill (I have many minutes due to carryover) or will I be charged digital time (by the kilobyte, as in Cingular's Media plans)? Thanks. Dave.

P.S. The guy at my Cingular store had no idea as to the answer.
