I have an unlocked cingular phone with cingular. I was wandering if I went to europe for the weekend if my phone would work there with my tmobile sim. If it does, do they charge me for using it outside of the country? I thought that since you can use any gsm provider in the states with an unlocked phone, that it would be the same anywhere, anyone know? thanks

it should work. my in-laws' cingular phone worked in jamaica, but they had to pay some crazy fees and taxes.

if you go to europe, you might want to look into a prepaid european sim card to put in your phone. i've seen sites that sell them with airtime, but not sure about the pricing.
