I used to have a Motorola V220 with Cingular that had poor reception and I couldn't hear the other end clearly and they couldn't hear me clearly. Just wondering if I stuck with Cingular but got a RAZR, would that make a difference?

Re: Does Cellphone make a difference in reception for Cingular service?
Only way to know (since every area is going to be different), is to borrow a Razr and find out. Head to one of the Wireless stores that carry Cingular phones, ask to put a deposit on a loner Razr to pop you SIM in to see if you'll have any better reception. The key thing is they will need to have a loaner or a rep may allow you to do this with one of his phones.
This works for people I know that try out different phones all the time. Mind you the deposit is normally going to be more than the phone is worth, and they are going to have your account info and your name as well. And yes I have done this with cells phones myself.

I used to have a V220 a while back & hated it. Try service with a RAZR.
