I just talked to a cingular representative and she said that they don't send any updates for my cell phone. So, I was wondering how I update the software for mr razr v3? I mean, somehow I got video capturing option and I just restarted my phone. My flex version is GSMV3MYCIN01NA0F5 and S/W Version is R374_G_0E.41.C3R_B

Cingular updates the operating software so that it syncs with the network. If you're wanting to update the software version..... goto.....

Thanks for the info. There's so much information at that forum. I downloaded a bunch of p2k programs and others to help me to flex/flash and seem edit my phone. I'm not going to do anything yet because I have no idea what flex/flash is, lol. Is there a beginners guide somewhere out there? I mean...serious beginner.

Well the best this is you found a good forum for modding your phone, and you are right not to do anything until you have READ and asked questions on that forum, about the use of the programs and if anyone there can point you to a step by step tutorial.

For now read read read and learn learn learn!

Rushing in, even with a step by step guide, you can still turn your phone into a doorstop. Oh and btw, if your phone is in it's warranty period, do not make any chnages to it's software.
