cingular go phone

hello.i have a cingular go phone and i was looking to unlock it.cingular cant give out unlock codes,can they? if they can how long do you have to be a customer before they'll give it to you?THANKS!

cingular dont give out unlock codes either get ur phone to asian phone shops to unlock it for like around 15 bucks usd or use usb cable to unlock it. iprefer the phone shop cause u let the pros unlock it

i haven't heard of anyone trying with a gophone but you might be able to. Call their customer service and tell them you're going out of the country and you want to use a prepaid sim card from overseas. Often times they'll send you the unlock code within a few days

most likely cingular wont do that cause they wont even give unlock code for contract costomers. maybe u can get it unlocked by cingular i never used cingular before

Yes, Cingular would unlock your phone if you give that "I'm going out of the country and I want to use a pre paid SIM card from outside of the US." They'll fill out a form, and usually you'll get the subsidy codes in email in a couple of days. You can also do the "My phone is showing a 'phone restriction code', and this is the only phone that I can use." Sometimes they'll buy into it.

If you have had an account for over 90 days you can request it .
