thats what i said!!! Remember, nothings "official" in this world until it actually happens... i asked them about getting out of contract for raising the price, and they said, "no, its just a feature, you can cancel the feature if you want..." thats bull****!!! if you start a contract paying one price for ANYTHING on your bill and they raise it, you should be able to cancel imho

Well their right, the 7 dollar add on is in fact a feature. It's not a plan, and they do not offer any plans currently with early evenings.

Plans can be bundled with features, that's done all the time, and promotional features expire all the time, and were never "PART" of the plan.

Here is a quote DIRECTLY from thier "Terms of Service" Brochure>>>

(under changes to terms and rates)

"IF WE INCREASE THE PRICE OF ANY SERVICES TO WHICH YOU SUBSCRIBE, BEYOND THE LIMITS SET FORTH IN YOUR RATE PLAN BROCHURE,.... YOU MAY TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT WITHOUT PAYING AN EARLY TERMINATION FEE..."

You subscribe to features, if this was just talking about your rate plan, they would have said "plan" like they do in other places when they are soley talking about plans.....

That sounds like a cut and dry case to me.....

and the 7-7-7 wasn't part of the rate plan, but an add on feature. And features can be added at any time and they do increase or decrease in price as well.

And while you subscribe to features, they are not part of the rate plan you signed up for in a 1 or 2 year contract. And you won't find any of the features like the early evening as part of any current or past rate plan.

That's pretty cut and dry, features are not part of your rate plan.

But you can try getting out of the ETF by saying I don't wanna pay extra for early nights, which was never part of my rate plan. Just to see what they say. I have a feeling that "Ok sure thing" is not what you'll be hearing, at least not in the first few phone calls anyway.

Sonicbum, I did understand you, but I know what they meant and what happens. But it can be tried (has been tried) and the people get told, nope you can't get out of the ETF... NEXT.

I know it looks like that what it says, I'm just telling you it's not.

if cingular hopes to retain their client base, they better come up with something else, real quick! the "extras" are what they make the money on!
