Please suggest a new phone for AT&T cusotmer

Hello. I am a AT&T customer and refuse to migrate to Cingular. I have a fabulous plan which I cannot match elsewhere. I have a Nokia 3120 which I am getting tired of. Could you please suggest the best option for me to get a new phone which will work with my AT&T sim card. Is the only option to buy an "unlocked" phone, and insert my sim car? If so, where do I go buy one? I take it AT&T phones are no longer being manufactured? I don't need internet access, however, I would like it to have bluetooth capability. I like Nokia so maybe you could suggest the best Nokia GSM phone to upgrade to.

Either get an unlocked phone, or a phone that is branded to ATTWS. Cheapest way is to check out eBay or Craigslist.

yea get an unlocked phone on ebay, there very very cheap, jst watch out on craigslist though.

Are you sure that your AT&T phone has a SIM card?
ATT is an analog system, when you switch to Cingular, they will then upgrade to the GSM network. That is when you will get a SIM card.

Migrating customers do not have to pay for activation.
Be sure before you purchase.
You can buy another analog phone, but you will have to bring it into AT$T to have it programed.

Nokia 6230 is exactly the same size as your 3120.
Comes with FM, MP3, Bluetooth, Camera, and Video. Ect.........

My AT&T phone is a GSM phone and has a SIM card. I've gotten tired of the 3120. Are there any Nokia phones newer than the 6230?

specific form? candybar?, flip, slider?

international compatibility?, triband or just dual band?

I don't need International coverage, just US & Canada so I guess that's dual bands? I thought I read where Nokia candybar phones are better than flip ones. I didn't pay for my Nokia 3120, but that was when when AT&T was still around so I'm not sure how I need to budget for a decent phone -

Thats still a new phone, and you can get the phone for under $100 on ebay. I recommend getting the nokia fm headset $8.00 value shipping included. Trust me ull use the FM radio

Can someone please help me decide on which phone to buy? I was looking at the Nokia 6620. Any ideas on whether to go with the 6620 versus the 6230 or 6030?

i've only heard great things about both the 6230 and the 6620. I don't think you can go wrong with either. the 6230 is a series 40 phone while the 6620 is a series 60 phone so it comes down to whether you like the series 40 firmware or s60 firmware
