Hi, I think i've decided on buying a Nokia E62, but what I don't get is the data plans offered are different from every vendor.

If I go to Cingular, they offer:

    BlackBerry Connect 4MB*** $34.99/month
    BlackBerry Connect Unlimited*** $44.99/month

neither of which mention anything about text messaging...

Now when I go to letstalk.com , which has a better price on the phone, they offer:

    BlackBerry Personal Plan Unlimited $29.99/mo
    BlackBerry Personal Max $39.99/mo
    BlackBerry 4MB $34.99/mo
    BlackBerry Unlimited $44.99/mo
    BlackBerry Max $54.99/mo

where it states that the both Max plans include 1000 messages.

from what I understand the Personal plans are not for corporate use, fine by me... but why is it that Cingular themselves do not offer these better plans? Amazon has plans all their own as well...

Also Cingular is not very clear about this, but does Data Usage mean Internet Usage or just E-mail?

Sorry if these questions are stupid, but I'm new to this whole blackberry thing, I knew it was for e-mail but don't really know the difference between what the blackberry plans offer as opposed to the Cingular Data Connect Plans.

    Thanks for any input!

i think they are just worded differently, but are the same plans and prices. you get a $5 discount for having a voice plan also, but that should be the same monthly fee no matter where you purchase the phone from...

    godluck
When Cingular said, "More Bars in More Places," I thought they meant pubs, LoL!!
Cing is better than T-Mumble, Sprint POS, AllHel, Suprisin Verizon, nHelos, or SunCon..put that in your pipe and smoke it

also, unless you have a blackberry, you will pay $39.99 for unlimited email/internet. if you have a crackberry, you can get unlimited both for $29.99 added to a voice plan.
