Hi, Im new to the site I have a question :
I currently have a plan w/ t-mobile. I want to keep the plan but the phone is old and I NEED a new one. I want to buy the cingular 8125 PDA phone but they have the worst plans! I know if i buy an unlocked phone I can put my sim card in it but then what? how do i activate it? and also i heard that it damages the phone or the features are deleted... can anyone simplify this?!? Im lost here Thanks for the help

Actually, once you put in your SIM card you're set. The things that you would just have to do is get the settings for MMS and internet fot T-Zones(since it originally comes with MEdiaNet). Whoever told you that putting in your T-Mobile SIM card would damage the 8125 was probably misinformed. But if you really want this phone, why not just go with T-Mobile's version of the 8125, the MDA? But yeah, just slide in your SIM card, get the settings , and you're set.
