AHHHHHHH!

ANYONE.

I have a motorola pink razr v3 and im on the cingular unlimited media net and 1000 messages plan.

I thought instant messaging was media net and not text messages.

So now im 1000 over and i NEED to find out how much it costs.

I cannot ask my parents yet, theyll flip.

And i cant find out anywhere.
Anyone know?

well there is good news and bad news...bad news is it will cost you .10 per txt...(.25 for mulmed)....but if this is your first time going over in this manner just call cust serv...explain the situation they have the descretion to credit up to $250 w/o mngr app...(figure could have changed slightly)...so i believe you can get most if not all of that portion of your bill taken care of...i am a former Cingular employee

well i am a current employee and I can tell you that the rates went up to 15 cents per text. so when you look at 1000 X .15 you are looking about 150 bucks extra not inculding tax on that. He was right though. I would recommend telling your parents what is going on. Call customer service and explain to them that you had a misunderstanding of the text vs media net. Im not sure that they will refund any of it, but just make sure and get on the Messaging Extreme package which comes with 3000 text per month for 20 bucks, no media net. Like i said, do not expect a credit but just make sure you get on the right plan.
