    Hey,

I purchased an 8125 recently (as I extended my service contract). Should the device fail to deliver or run into problems, what will happen if I do warranty exchange? I understand that they're obligated to give the same or a comparable phone.

Given the age of the 8125 model, and the apparent fact that it has been discontinued, I doubt they'll have any left.

    What phone will I get?

    Thanks for the help.

Re: Warranty Exchange Question - 8125

If purchased within 30 days you can return it to the place of purchase using the in store warranty. After the first 30 days it is under factory warranty for the next 11 months. After one year from the purchase date the phone is no longer under warranty and can therefor not be exchanged. The exchange by mail program should still have some of these models left, if not you will probably receive the 8525 model.

It should also be noted that any physical damage will void your warranty. For example: water damage, cracked or broken screen, defected hinges and slide mechanics. The warranty only covers manufacturer defects.
