Hey jrumsey,
I recently built my own computer, its pretty straight forward if you get da right parts! i suggest you get a kit (all the seperate parts together that will work with one another) one site you buy these on is www.komplett.ie!
One ting 2 watch out for aswell is the case! i had a problem were my processor wasnt working! and i couldnt figure it out! and it turned out the case was in sum weird shape and the motherboard was touching the metal den shortin out!!
Sure when wen u start call back with some info and ill get back to ya!!

Thanks
Thanks for your help. I won't be starting this for about a month but when I do I will post. I just fixed one of my broken computers so I just need to save a couple pennies then I'm on to the next project. Do you know of good web pages to check out for cases? I have a case now that is pretty cool and I want to top it with this computer.

The Case
The case that I have now is a working computer. It's a amd 1700 1.3 g proccesor with a 40 g hard drive. DVD writer CD burner. I really like this computer I will take a pic and show it to you. It's got the top and both sides cut out of the case in designs with clear plexiglass. On each of the fans has a Neon light that changes colors with a mod controller for the fan speed. Dual Bios. In the front it has neon blue bubble lights (actually bubbles) it's one of the nices cases I've ever seen. I just want to find a case or build one that is better than this one.
