I am excellent with the building and installing Win98 and various software as I build computers for friends. The inner workings of Windows I am starting to dabble in ........ (may the force be with me) I tend to practical problem solve or search on the net for a solution which is how I amass and in depth knowledge, or read some tech books but only if I need to. I am a musician by trade!

For some reason folks got the idea I'm some sorta' computer genius however, somehow I want to respond to that first entry "What's a computer?"! I'm in between I'm learning how to build them now. Even with a phd (very recent) and being around them all my life I believe we'll always be playing catch-up. Gotta' keep enticing everyone with the new and improved mousetrap... and then there's some of us "hackers, crackers (who you callin' a cracka'?)... keepin' folks on their toes. One of my business partners is in his 50's Russian immigrant and has an unbelievable amount of experience in all aspects and knows it all equally well, created all these programs we all use or have used you name it he's done it (his résume is 5 pages long of what he knows and has created) keeps ya' humble ya' know?

I think a lot more people know how to build pcs now, I built mine, with my bros help, and since ive passed on my skills to 2 mates. the hardware side of PCs really is a lot simpler than the software side. Although no expert im no noob, as a few people already said..
