Just keep at it...
Have you tried searching Microsoft's Knowledge Base yet? Every once in a while you can actually find the answer you're looking for in the KB.
Have you tried to upgrade IE? Sometimes if a program starts to get 'flaky', you can re-install or upgrade to the newest version and eliminate the problem.
You can also go to Google and type in the error message. You're likely to find hundreds (or millions) of people who have had the same or similar trouble. It's also a good way to find technical help sites and forums that may help you with other problems down the road.
If you're primarily using Firefox, tho, and you like it, stick with it. If you're stubborn, like me, and just want to figure out the problem because it bothers you, then just keep your chin up and keep digging for the answer. Eventually you'll find the problem.

I agree... If ya like Firefox, just keep it. Firefox has been so much better for me than IE ever was... I just wished that there we're more companies who would support it...

Just use FireFox at least until the summer when Internet Explorer 7 comes out; but by that time I am sure you will be very addicted to everybody's favorite browser... FireFox...

Yes same quandry. I am using Firefox and generally like it for general browsing (gotta love almost no popups , maybe 4 in the last 6 months). However when I want to watch a video or listen to audio "Missing Plug In" blah blah . So at those frustrating times I think , maybe IE.
But then I remember how adware that couldn't be eradicated would somehow come out of the woodwork as soon as I fired up IE. But the adware didn't recognize Mozilla so I was free again. Ahhhhhhhhhh.
Bottom line. I can't get no satisfaction. But I tried, and I tried.
