i am using amd too..reasonable price.and i dont really see any differences in performance if compares to intel...
amd has improved its technology about oveaheating problem..
i think i will still use amd chip for my next computer..i have been using 3 of them for the past few years....

Right now, I have a P4 2.73 GHz. I've known someone with an AMD 64... but I dont like it that much.

Pentium = Good for All things, AMD = Pretty nice for games, and that's about it...

AMD just because it's what I had put in my first self owned computer. Simply because of the cheap price at the time, I didn't have alot of money or know alot about computers. And I've been using them ever since!

I generally have a bias towards pentium. that is what I have always owned. I don't really like my friends computers that are anything else.

My first two computers were Intel, but I decided to give AMD a chance. I wasn't let down, and unless Intel cooks up a miracle I'll be sticking with AMD.

i've been using AMD since i started making my own computers basically because intels were prohibitively expensive. athlon thunderbirds, xp's, and now 64's. i've had fun overclocking pretty much all of them! and those 64's...oh man. i've got my 3400+ clocked up to 2.8ghz with less heat than my olld thunderbirds!

AMD all the way. Intel is just now coming out with their 64 bit version of what AMD has had out for some time.

For gaming and graphics intense applications, AMD walks all over Intel. If you just use email and sometimes search the internet, then stick with Intel, for just about every other application, go with AMD....you won't regret it!
