WINDOWS VISTA ANNOUNCED ---> RELEASE DATE!

I've known about it for a long time now, but finally! I'm able to tell everyone about it!!! You Mac users, and lovers, will absoultly LOVE Windows Vista. This is, infact, the ONLY microsoft OS, designed to be like a MAC's OS. Its based soley upon the MAC OS X, but has that little bit of windows 'touch' to it. Security in the Vista, formally known as code name 'Longhorn' in it's early devolopement, is NOTHING but tight. ALL files (this might be the only pain) must be cleared by the administraor (I dont like this feature at all). Now... whats the onw of the MOST important ting about our PCs? Speed. Vista's start up time is UNDER 10 seconds, WITH 4 user accounts!!! Tell me that isnt incredible?! Now, sleep state, windows bounces back in under 5 seconds... Props One of the most amazing thing about Vista is, well, bascially an engine light! BEFORE something goes wrong, Vista will detect, and try to fix the problem! Vista is said to be over 50x more responsive than XP, on the same Hardware configurations, not to mention the improved graphics! Viruses... Windows Vista is like super man! lol... itll acctually DETECT viruses the moment when the enter your computer, hense defending itself (wow... sience... lol ) while taking minimal damage. As XP, User data can be saved while Vista upgrades ... good... lol Windows will be upgrading their settings to allow easier networking, and wireless configurations, just the more for our on-the-go type users Now.. people will love this, especially programmers. Vista offers FREE, thats right, FREE DEVOLOPING TOOLS!! for all applications, not just online sites, or .NET accounts. Impressive. AND!! you can search DIRECTLY from the start menu too! May the final version be that good too Now... your probably wondering... "How much of a dent is this going to put in my wallet?". Well... New OEM versions should be released for around $300, while upgrades will cost only $100. This is only upgradable through XP though... sorry all you others!! Any way, Vista was orriginally planned to be released in July 2005, but was pushed back... WAY BACK. Devolopers commented that it should be relased within the ebd of 2006 (I have a little insid tip it'll be Early-Mid 2006.)The sooner the better !!!!!!!!!

If I was you all, I'd dump windows and go Linux all the way.....

well... i ENJOY linux... but... most programs aren't run in a DOS batch mode... so that leaves Windows or MAC (uuughhhh... just the sound of that junk gives my spine a chill) and personally... Mac's 64 bit OS can just fall flat... lol... ive been lucky enough to obtain a copy of Vista Beta!! YAY! so, ill post some pics for you

Personally I'd like to see them make it right, not hurry it out the door. I heard they already dropped the new filesystem from the release, and it makes me wonder about what else was cut and what corners are being cut in order to make a release date. It's almost a universal rule in software development: rush development to meet a deadline and your design and feature list will always suffer from it.

and also, i heard it is good only for MOBILE devices... clarification anyone?

um....... EVENTUALLY a H2 Version will be placed out... put not soon... expect PalmONE or iPaq to have it

Windows Vista better be good. Google just teamed up with Sun and you know they'll make an OS.
