Yeah!... this board is fine but maybe a little more sub-division of topics is in order, e.g. Computer evaluations (s/w + h/w) and Computer help.... anyway, you guys know what the traffic on this board is, so it's up to you.

    Cheers

Oh.... and by the way... I don't mind helping out with computer probs either. With 20yrs+ in the buis I don't call myself a computer guru but maybe geek or nurd is OK...

Notice how I split my response over two replies to get the extra bucks. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

    Cheers

    Re: computer trouble?

I faced the same problem a week ago, I restarted my laptop, it said "unknown filesystem" "Grub Rescue" and I was unable to proceed. I found a solution on this site https://www.techinweb.com/3-solution...n-grub-rescue/ . After examining the cause of the problem, I found out that the bootloader (GRUB) does not exist on this partition. With the help of this site, I was able to test and repair my partitions and MBR using it.

Don't know how to completely remove AMD, NVIDIA, INTEL video card drivers from the system? Display Driver Uninstaller will help you with this.
Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) completely removes video card drivers from the system, including their entries in the registry, files and folders, and registration keys. DDU removes video card drivers from AMD, NVIDIA, Intel. In the arsenal of the utility there are many advanced functions and useful settings: various uninstallation options: "with reboot", "without reboot", "with turning off the PC" (to install a new video card); creating a system restore point before deleting; deleting / saving the root folder with drivers; deleting / saving existing monitors; creating and saving log files in the program folder; correct removal or preservation of additional software installed with the drivers.
You can download Display Driver Uninstaller on the official website: display-driver-uninstaller.com

Hello everyone. I already have a monitor, but I want to buy a second one to watch the series and work productively. I found an interesting article best vertical monitor that helped me figure out the choice. I still decided on the choice of ASUS.
