    yeah

its pretty easy once u learn basic circuitry

first off u gota open up yur xbox (which voids your warrenty which i might add)

    geta led cooling fan

rip off the cathode tube and use the power connector off the the fand and replace it with the molex hard drive power adapter and hot glue the led and connect it to the power

i also bought a seatgate internal hardrive, it works fine with the xbox

but its kinda ridiculous my xbox has more hard drive space than my comp

    but modding is my hobby

reply if u wanna actualy mod yur xbox
    Hey there!

    Re: modding xboxes

My Xbox: v1.0, split TSOP, XBMC as main dash, 120 GB Seagate, LED's in controller ports (red), red hard drive and LAN activity LED's, wireless doorbell mod (to power it on from across the room cuz I am lazy ) I also removed and cleared the jewel, but lost it somewhere . I think I am going to do away with the wireless doorbell mod and get a V2 XIR. The doorbell works good for turning the box on, but it won't turn it off. I think the Xbox generates too much RF, and the transmitter just doesn't generate a strong enough signal to get through to the reciever. I use my Xbox mainly for watching movies and listening to music, which is why XBMC is my main dash. I stream everything from my server through SMB shares. This comes in quite handy because it allows me to store all my games on the box, without clogging up my storage space with other media.
