    Who here uses it?

I know there are threads on web browsers but I want people who use Netscape to tell why they do. Does it show Username effects like glow and shadow?

I'm thinking about trying it. I usually use Firefox, but I'm downloading IE 7 now.

Also, does it support ctrl+enter to automatically insert www. and .com?

Personally, I'd go to Opera before I'd go to Netscape... In my IT class, we had to learn how to download netscaper using CMD.exe LOL it was fuuuun

    Re: Netscape Browser

    I use opera now..
For the amount of work I have to do at any given moment, Opera is fastest and most effective for me.
Firefox is 2nd.. but Opera is on top..
Netscape... maybe 10 years ago I would have considered it...

    Re: Netscape Browser

The last time I checked, Netscape is now the least used browser on the Internet. I don't know why they still making it since almost no one uses it anymore.

Firefox is probably the best free replacement for it. I use Firefox myself. It is based on Netscape 5 that never came out.

I never used Opera so I can not really comment on it. I think there's a paid version and free version (with less features). Correct me if I am wrong.

The only thing I could think of why people would still use Netscape is they do offer a Composer that you can use to make your own web pages. It's a very basic editor to make web pages.

Opera is completely free now, Mobile Edition is the only one you have to pay for. Also, the new netscape is pretty much Firefox with IEtab built into it. Anyway, I am using Firefox now.
