Re: Wi-Fi router password's gone missing
I also think that resetting the router should work. All of them have a reset somehow...just need to figure out what it is. That would also erase all of the other settings so it may be a last resort. I doubt there is a "password recovery" option, but you never know.

Re: Wi-Fi router password's gone missing
Even Cisco's business routers have those options. I'm surprised yours doesn't. That sucks. You could always try to brute force it too...

Re: Wi-Fi router password's gone missing
Is it your own personal router ?
If not, open it up, grab a 12V battery, and connect the positive and negative ends to different parts of the circuit board.
Then scratch your head as you explain that the router just simply isn't working !

Bought it used... Checked the manual... nothing. I'll open it up, check if there's a small battery in it (like the CMOS battery). It should be volitle Hopefully lol

Re: Wi-Fi router password's gone missing
No need to go looking it up, just try telneting into the ip of the router and if it works it works.
just run telnet ip of router from the command line.
