I'm a n00b when it comes to video editing, I've never taken the time to learn anything about it. I was wondering if anyone could refer me to a program that I could use to bleep out.. lets say a middle finger or something.. Like they do on TV when they bleep peoples' mouths when they curse, or bleep out license plates and such. I need to do this with an AVI file. I don't mind converting it to another format as long as I can play it on a computer. Thanks for your time.

use sony vegas studio. you could cut the audio track in that particular scenen and replace it with a beep sound or anything you wanted.
Need any other help. you could get into my computer forum..
