MOZILLA'S FIREFOX Internet browser gained market share against Microsoft's Internet Explorer in European region countries and elsewhere during 2007, the French Internet traffic analysis firm XiTi Monitor has reported.

Firefox is within a few percentage points of pulling ahead of Internet Explorer in some countries. Its share is 45.4 per cent in Finland, 42.4 per cent in Poland, 41.2 per cent in Slovenia and 40.3 per cent in Hungary.

I use Firefox also and I LOVE it. It's faster than IE and the tab mix plus extension is awesome. The extensions are free and you can choose which ones you want.

I want to use FireFox, but ONE reason I wouldn't use
can't use hotkey to send (alt+s, calls history dropdown box)
this is inconveient for browsing forums (most of forums use alt+s to send or save changes)

Re: Mozilla's firefox races to beat Internet Explorer

I've been using Firefox since its .09x days. It's improved by leaps and bounds since then, though the 3.x version likes to freeze up for a few seconds here and there on my Vista laptop.

Firefox and Flock (based on Firefox software) definitely pwn IE with their blocking of executables and extensions that allow you to block all scripts and ads.
All restrictions of self-expression are futile!
