    Hi.
I'm a new member here, and rather new to mobile phones. I'm looking for a phone which I can really easily connect to the computer and backup numbers and messages, and also put numbers onto the phone from the computer. My only experience of trying to do this was totally frustrating, it was with an old Nokia, many years ago. It was supposed to be able to save all the phone number details as a csf - comma separated file - which it did, but when I uploaded the same file back to the phone to test the process it totally failed to work.

I imagine things have moved on a bit since then, but the phones I have tried don't seem to have a simple way of doing these things. I've tried a Sony Ericsson 660, which comes with some software for connecting to the computer, but I can't even find any way of accessing the phone numbers.

Ideally I'd like a phone which simply appears as a disk on the pc when connected, and the phone numbers / details file can be accessed directly.

The sales people in the shops I have tried understand the question, but don't know the answer! And one of them suggested I try a forum, and this forum looks very well established, so I'm hoping that some of you enthusiasts will be able to help me with some info. I'll be very grateful if you can help me get a phone I'm really happy with.

    Cheers

Now for your problem, you can use a updated any multimedia set of any brand which support software .Then you can save your contact number into memory card and then you are able to back up your contact number into your pc.When again you load these on your memory card then you need a docx software for your mobile.
