Hi,
My daughter is 9 years old and really wants a kindle for Christmas.
Ive had a look and there are a number of different types I'm not sure which 1 to purchase if any!! I'm not quiet sure will it keep her entertained yes she loves to read books but also loves playing games listening to music and watching movies. Is there anything out there that has all of these?I have been looking at the kindle Fire but it can only be purchased in the US!

Re: Is a Kindle suitable for children?
Visit a store that carries them and test drive for your self.
If a store like toys r us carries them, ask the kids in the store for their opinion.Last edited by camstuf; 11-30-2011 at 06:32 PM.

Re: Is a Kindle suitable for children?
Honestly, I'd go out to a garage sale or a used book store and load up on kids books. You could get a lot of kids books there for the price of a Kindle and you wouldn't have to worry about a kid smashing a $150 device.
