I usually buy what is on sale. I just got a 100-pack of Fujifilm for $8 from Best Buy.

darn I spent $20 on a spindle of 100 cdrs but they don't have a greenish tint to them, they are purely silver top silver silver bottom.

what CD brand do u recommend??

    Hey people!

I am sooooooooooooooooooo sick of my CD-R and RWs.....Im currently using Imation (neon colored ) CD-R but already i have found 3 corrupt CDs.

I only use these to burn Audio tracks (music) and found that RealOne has rejected my third disc, it burns 80% of a track then deems the CD corrupt and now unusable.

I really need a good brand recommendation, what do u guys recommend???????????

In desperate need of good help ........

well there are quite a few recommendations in here.

Well here's my 2MB$. I currently use a generic brand, great BTW, but they get scratched up easier. I save my Sony CDRs for important data like pictures of my work etc. I used TDKs in the begining they were great to some extent but the Sony's were better, but I love the simiplicity of the TDK cdrs, they are very easy to write on because of the dots on the cd so a person can write in curved lines.

I don't buy anything overly inexpensive because they would most likely fail. I hope that helps.

I use Prime brand and buy the 50 pack. I've followed all of the instructions on how to properly use them yet I still get damaged disks which frustrates me no end. When I have 50 damaged cd's I'm going to send them back to the company and request new disks. since they are now charging me a copyright levy ( cash grab) on whether they are used for Music copying or not I'm going to use the same logic as them. most of my disks are to backup files or burn off pictures from my digital camera and scanned pictures but do they care? I think not.

The best media out there is either gold media or Taiyo Yuden.

yeah I got a Taiyo Yuden CDR, quite stable but I can't find spindles of the suckers so I don't buy them. I'm going to buy another 100 silver/silver CDR spindle and another 50 Sony CDRs.
