eMac

Has anybody had there eMac just turn off, Mine did and I am trying to figure out? it turns on and them it says system folder not found? and then tryed booting of the cd, but there is n HD to install X on. Do you think my HD could have gone bad?, when i turn it on it goes on, but the hard drive makes a funny noise. like a buzzing sound. but no hd boots, can you help? anybody?

Is the eMac still under warranty?
I knwo someone who may be able to help, but if it's still under warranty, you be better off taking it back to the store.
