i am trying to use build for duke 3d on windows xp (the game plays fine, only the sound is a little jumpy)
i cannot enter 3d mode (yes build is in the same directory as all the other duke 3d files)
it wont enter build 3d mode, it wont insert points, or well do pretty much anything except insert sprites and sector walls.
what should i do?

Re:
either get another cheap comp like a 1.66mhz etc one of those 10 year old ones or partician your hd and put msdos 6.22 etc on that partician and boot up using an msdos 6.22 etc start up disk and use build from there.

Get a better video card?
Maybe you would see better results of you got a hold of a new video card? That should provide better display of 3d elements, shading, etc.
good luck!
