exactly, soooo much ****ed up audio it aint even funny. but for the videos one thing u can try is avi preview.

what is DC++?

DC++ is 'nother kewl file sharing proggie...but has its own limitations!!!.....like u directly connect to the users n download from them...once the user is offline u get discon...unless the file is widely spread n many users r sharing.
One kewl aspect is u get to see ppl sharing bout 1TB of data!!!!...(dunno if they r really sharin that amount!!!)
there's lotta kewl indian stuff also floatin around!!!!!...mostly its a lotta europe!!!!!

suprnova - is a bittorrent link indexin site...one of the kewl'est, stablest n the best site round for bittorrent stuff!!!!!


i basically prioritize my downloads:

use ED2K network for DVD RiP movies n softwares (most trusted network...even tho its slow..been hooked to it for bout 4 yrs now!!)
has massive amount of link sites floatin round!!!

use BITTORRENT for softwares n indian stuff

use DC++ for audio n indian stuff

use kazaa for video clips!!

IRC sucks big time for the connections we have here in india~!!

Many people of the Bit Torrent world are very suspicious of www.suprnova.com. The true bit torrent link is www.suprnova.org. The .com link is new and is trying to work off of people mistyping the .org link in. We don't know where it came from but the site seems to be baised in the United States where all such servers are taken down within a day.

DC has been out for a while. It like Bit Torrent is a downloading protocol with more features


DC++ is sort of a new variation with a nice GUI and chat interface. It is sort of mIRC on steriods. To my knowledge the best DC++ are internal college networks where you can get speeds up to 10 megs a second until your buffer ****s the bed.

I just stick to IRC, i do find old stuff using the search. I have tons of oldies, but depends on what genre you're looking for. Some are harder to find than others.

IRC, kazaa, winmx, everyone should get all three.

That's the right page ski! its an open source project, just go to the download section on the sourceforge page!

i use BT for games and apps, ares for music and music vids, and i use winmx just cuz i like how they organize the library. and for ppl who are having problems with uploading much faster u are dling... try dling a diff BT client such as bittornado or abc cuz u can limit ur upload speed. and some people complain about how fast they dl too, well if u are behind a router, u have to forward some ports, i think its something like 6886-6896 or something not sure... check the suprnova forums

i hate kazaa. it sucks. i use LimeWire Pro occasionally but use Newsgroups/IRC/FTP the most.
