Apple iPad 3 and iPhone 5 to come with IGZO panels when launched?

Apple is constantly trying to improve on its products. IPS displays are presently on the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2. Next year is said to bring even more improvements as according to DigiTimes, Apple plans on using the IGZO panels when it comes time to launch the new iPad (iPad 3) and the newest generation of iPhone (iPhone 5). The IGZO panels stand for indium gallium zinc oxide and is said to be manufactured by Sharp.

The IGZO panels will allow improved light transmittance at higher pixel densities as well as consuming less energy.
