Cell Phone Reviews

If you feel like the "side-slider" market hasn't gotten a lot of attention lately, then you're pretty much right. Nowadays it's all about full touchscreens, narrow bezels and large displays. However, according to recent leaks, LG and Verizon are planning on releasing a new device known under the name of LG Enact. The Enact appears to be a side-sliding Android device that conceals a physical 5-row QWERTY keyboard underneath the display (much like any other side-slider would).

The image you see above has been recently shared by the famous insider @evleaks, who claims that the LG Enact is just "days away" from its release. Earlier reports coming from Phone Arena have indicated that the Enact could go on sale on August 22. Could we be only one day away from this handset's release on Verizon's network? I suppose only time will tell. Fortunately, we don't have to wait that long to find out.

As for what we can expect from the Enact in terms of specifications, the gadget appears to deliver a 4 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800, a Snapdragon 400 or Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU under the hood, an Adreno 305 graphics chip and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. The gadget would apparently be powered by a 2,460 mAh battery which should be plenty given its not-so-demanding internals.

As far as pricing goes, there's really not much to tell. Nonetheless, as mentioned above, the LG Enact could go on sale starting with tomorrow, and if that turns out to be correct, then we're all going to find out these details soon enough.
