Verizon slashes the price of the Motorola Droid 3 to $49.99 and offering the Purple version of the Motorola Droid Razr

Once again, Verizon has decided to cut the price on the Motorola Droid 3. This time, the price has dropped down to $49.99 on a Verizon contract. Not only has Verizon cut the price on the Motorola Droid 3, but they are now offering the Motorola Droid RAZR in the purple color, which is going for $199.99 for the 16GB version and $299.99 for the 32GB Black version.

One reason that Verizon may be slashing their prices on the Motorola Droid 3 may have something to do with the launching of the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX and DROID 4 nearing pretty soon.
