Not too long ago, the first rumors concerning the Nokia Lumia 929 have surfaced, next to those regarding the Lumia 1520. Now, a new batch of leaks surrounding the 929 has hit the blogosphere, giving us a better view on what we might expect from this particular device.

To begin with, the Nokia Lumia 929 is said to be released through Verizon Wireless, but if you thought that the device would be Big Red's alternative to AT&T's Lumia 1520, then you might be wrong. Reportedly, the Lumia 929 is a more toned-down spin-off of the 1520, and it won't boast the same large 6 inch display. Instead, Verizon's 929 will allegedly feature a 5 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Regardless, the Lumia 929 is said to still borrow the 20 MP PureView camera of the Lumia 1520, and will feature a dual LED flash.

What's also really interesting about the Lumia 929 is that it's rumored to arrive at the price of $500 off-contract. This could easily translate into $99 on a 2-year agreement with the carrier, making the 929 a very appealing choice to say the least.

As for the launch date, rumor has it that the 929 might go on sale in Verizon's store in early November, or to be more precise, on or around November 8. That's the same date on which the Lumia 1520 is also expected to arrive in AT&T's stores.

Until then, chances are that both the 1520 and the 929 will be revealed sometime by the end of October, most likely in Abu Dhabi where the Finnish manufacturer is expected to hold a pretty notable event.

All in all, Nokia seems to be on the roll with delivering new and impressive Lumia smartphones, and we couldn't be more pleased. Any thoughts regarding the Lumia 929? Leave them below.
