The Samsung Galaxy S4 is already available for purchase in the US via a handful of carriers, but not all of them have had the opportunity to launch the Samsung flagships on their network. Verizon did it just a few days ago, and Cricket Wireless has also just announced that it's going to offer the SGS4 in the near future.

In other words, Cricket has recently issued a press release, making gadget enthusiasts aware that the SGS4 is going to be found in their brick and mortar stores, online, as well as through authorized resellers beginning with the 7th day of June.

Outright, Cricket will be retailing the handset at the price of $599.99, but customers can also choose to make a smaller payment of $54.99 up-front, after which the handset will be paid off over the next couple of years.

As far as the device itself goes, there's no difference between what Cricket has to offer and the S4 variant(s) at any other carriers. The device packs a 5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a Snapdragon 600 processor running at 1.9 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, an Adreno 320 graphics chip, 16 GB of storage expandable by up to 64 GB via microSD, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with Samsung's latest version of TouchWiz on top and a 2,600 mAh battery.

As expected, the main difference between the variant offered by Cricket and the rest of the bunch, is the carrier's branding on the back panel of the device.

On a side note, the Galaxy S4 is also eligible for the Circket Muve Musix Double Data package, so you might want to look into that as well, if you're planning on buying the device.
