Virgin Mobile has now announced and released the Galaxy Ring, a low-end, budget friendly smartphone that won't cost you a fortune. The handset is now available for purchase at the price of $179 alongside the carrier's no-contract plans, which will set you back $35, $45, or $55 a month. The cheapest plan will offer you 300 minutes, the $45 one gives you 1200, and lastly, you can benefit from unlimited minutes for $55 a month. Messaging and data are both unlimited, regardless of the plan that you'll choose.
As to what the smartphone itself has to offer, The Samsung Galaxy Ring packs a 4 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800, a single-core MSM8655 Snapdragon S2 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of storage expandable via microSD.
