After the software giant located in Redmond has announced that they'll support their Surface tablets
for many years to come, the company has followed up with a few updates for their Surface RT. The new release has been launched over-the-air very recently and although it doesn't include any new features, it does brings a handful of fixes.
This latest Windows RT update aims at improving WiFi connections and increasing reliability on the matter. One of the most noticeable changes is that the new OS version now supports WiFi Access Point names that include non-standard characters.
Once you apply this new build you should also notice less "limited" WiFi connectivity issues and last but not least, the tablet will now automatically switch to the proper time zone during daylight saving time changes.
In order to check for updates on your Surface RT open PC Settings, go to
Settings >
Change PC settings, tap or click on
Windows Update and hit that
Check for Updates button. Good luck!
