The Multi Window Feature is set to Arrive on the Canadian Samsung Galaxy Note 2 This Week

If you happen to own a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in Canada then we have some pretty good news for you, as Samsung Canada has announced via Twitter that a new software update which includes the Multi Window app will arrive on your device starting with Wednesday. Alongside the feature in question the Korean manufacturer has also announced that the upcoming release will also include Chinese language support for those of you who need it further up north.

As for the Multi Window app itself, in case you're not familiar with it then you'll really be in for a surprise. In a nutshell, Multi Window allows a Galaxy Note 2 user to open up two applications at the same time, in a split screen environment, making this tool a true multitasking utility. A wide range of applications are compatible with Multi Window, such as YouTube, Twitter, Google Talk, Gmail and more, so overall this particular feature truly opens up new possibilities and makes your "productivity tool" (as Samsung calls its Note 2) much more efficient.

Make sure you keep your Note 2 close to you on Wednesday and in case you won't receive an update notification, don't hesitate to perform a manual check via the settings menu.
