In case you're planning on buying a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone and a
Nokia Lumia 920 at AT&T just isn't what you're looking for, then you might be happy to learn that the
Lumia 822 just went live at Verizon.
The Lumia 822 has a full retail price of $449.99 but if you wish to buy it on-contract then the gadget comes with a price-tag of $149.99 in Verizon's stores, and at the price of $99.99 if you buy it online.
The device itself is a
Lumia 820 variant that features a different design and is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8969 Snapdragon dual-core CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz, an Adreno 225 graphics chip and 1 GB of RAM. It also features 16 GB of storage which is expandable by up to 64 GB via microSD, 4G LTE connectivity, a 1,800 mAh battery, an 8 MP camera on the back with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, dual-LED flash and F2.2 aperture, a 1.2 MP front-facing sensor and a 4.3 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 and a pixel density of 217 ppi.
The Lumia 822 is offered in three colors including white, black and grey and comes with a few other goodies such as City Lens and subscription-free access to Nokia Music.
