The Samsung Galaxy S4 is getting ready to take the mobile world by storm. The Korean manufacturer has previously announced that the upcoming flagship will go on sale on numerous carriers, and as far as the US goes, that statement has been proven right.

The SGS4 is expected to arrive in the States via pretty much every major carrier, as well as a few other regional mobile operators. So far however, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular and MetroPCS have been eager to announce that the S4 will indeed be sold on their networks, while Verizon has kept quiet.

Indeed, for some reason, Big Red hasn't made any announcement regarding the arrival of the SGS4 in its stores. One might say that the Galaxy S4 will probably not even become available through Verizon, but that's definitely not the case.

As the image above suggests, a certain SGS4 variant has just paid the FCC a visit. The gadget bears the model number SCH-I545 and supports CDMA, several global HSPA bands and LTE connectivity at 700 MHz as well as AWS frequencies. In other words, the SCH-I545 is Verizon's Galaxy S4 model, yet the carrier still remains quiet about the handset's availability on its network.

If we're to believe the rumors though, the S4 should go on sale at Big Red starting with May 23, which would be quite a bit later than when the other carriers in the US are planning to launch the handset.

As for the Galaxy S4 itself, the gadget boasts a Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, a PowerVR SGX 544MP3 graphics chip, a 5 inch 1080 x 1920 Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 16/32/64 GB of storage expandable via microSD by up to 64 GB, a 13 MP camera on the back alongside a 2 MP front-facing sensor, a 2,600 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box with the latest TouchWiz user interface on top.

Is anyone planning on buying the SGS4 through Verizon?
