Press Release immediate:
Now finally Cricket Mobile cellular customers have a choice in obtaining media for their hand held devices. For the past 3 years Cricket “Leap Wireless” has been undergoing dramatic changes within the company’s new development, focusing on bringing affordable cellular service to the masses. The company filed for bankruptcy a few years ago and since has made a tremendous comeback in the mobile market economy and now by adding nationwide roaming to their service plans and new coverage areas such as the huge state of Texas planed for 2006, they are beginning to catch up with the big 4, Sprint, Cingular, AT&T, and Verizon.

Cricket was bound to become “the most affordable” cellular provider in their time, and by adding media content to their customers phones by applying a small java application called “cricket clicks” enabling consumers to access a wide array of content to download directly to their mobile phones, this has opened a new window in potential income as well. However, the cost of these applications are somewhat pricey and as loyal Cricket users, we sought out the need for a more affordable and practical way of getting media such as wallpapers & ring tones to our friends and family as well as other loyal cricket users.
Now after a year and a half of hard work, Kricketchirps.com is now open to all Cricket customers that have phones that can receive media such as picture messaging. They now have access to over 10,000 wallpapers & 2,000 ring tones and can browse from any computer in the world. All of the newer phones are all compatible, and this was first priority, however we are now undergoing adding a new service for customers with the older model phones to obtain ring tones as well as most cricket users are very cost conservative and like their older model phones. The average price of content for mobile devices has grown over the years; the average price for a single ring tone is from 1.99 to 2.99 and the same for wallpapers and graphics such as screensavers. We thought that was a little high especially considering the overall goal of cricket mobile users was to save money on their cellular service, so we decided that the total price of an item was to be set at .99 cents allowing the consumer to get more bang for their buck so to speak.

Now open for business and 100% functional, http://kricketchirps.com is one of only two websites on the internet offering media to cricket customers; we feel privileged to offer this service and want to welcome all cricket users with open arms.

Sincerely,

Richard Colvin
